Adult Rider Program and Adult Rider Committee (ARC)
2008

The Adult Rider Committee (ARC) of VADA/Nova is the voice of VADA/Nova's numerous adult members who are the backbone of our organization. The Committee's programs include activities of interest to serious adult competitors, professional trainers, as well as riders who are new to the sport of dressage.

Activities for 2007 included an Adult Dressage Camp at the Madeira School and the production of a fundraiser cookbook: The Unbridled Gourmet.

Attention all Cooks!

Recipes

The Adult Rider Committee published a cookbook in 2007 and it is available now for purchase.

Members and volunteers from VADA/Nova and the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, (NVTRP) .cooperated by contributing favorite recipes. The cookbook is published in a hard bound 3 ring binder (oh so practical!) with beautiful illustrations by a talented NVTRP volunteer.  It will be sold at shows, clinics, at NVTRP events and directly to members, friends and anyone interested in a collection of great recipes.

Here is how to order.

Fundraising:

Silent Auction Table at Awards Banquet.  Other fundraising initiatives, particularly a cookbook chaired by Kathy Mathers, are currently under consideration.
