VADA/Nova Distinguished Service Award

Criteria for Nomination

The purpose of the VADA/Nova Distinguished Service Award is to recognize long and faithful volunteer service to VADA/Nova. Individuals who will be considered for this award are those who have made outstanding contributions to VADA/ Nova and its mission over a long period of time. These contributions may include volunteering on a regular basis at VADA/Nova licensed and schooling shows or clinics, including serving as a schooling show secretary and/or manager, and/ or spearheading special projects and activities, and serving as a member of the VADA/Nova Board of Directors, including serving as an officer.

To be eligible for this award, an individual must have been a VADA/ Nova member for at least the last 8 years, and their contribution to the organization should be over a period of an extended period of time.

Any VADA/Nova member in good standing may nominate someone for the Distinguished Service Award, and the Board of Directions will make the final selection from among the nominations received.

Nomination write-ups should be 500 words or less and should be as specific as possible regarding the nominee's contribution to VADA/Nova.
